Envy Of Insight

It really truly makes me sad when not everything, not most things, not some things, not even few things I say are profound. It's an impossible standard to try and live up to and still every day every sentence I compose I'm dissatisfied with. Why can't what I convey be unavoidably impacting, enlightening, thought provoking? Stuck of course with the realization that I am not Buddha or one of Christ's disciples I'm gradually forcing myself to come to terms with my humanity and the endless flaws associated with it.
With that said, here's the remainder of my less than revolutionary news and thoughts since last I posted anything.
Prince Mookie, my adorably fluffy cat celebrated his one-year birthday this month, though we were never told what day of the month he was born. I still think he's kind of small but the fur makes up for it I guess. Cauliflower, my ever-aging bunny requires a bit more care with keeping himself clean and groomed, but I'm always happy to put in the work necessary to keep the ones I love happy. He's got an appointment coming up to get his nails trimmed at the vet, I'm too nervous to do it so we visit every four months.
Skye has grown more this month than any month prior. Still no distinguishable words but the 'mum' and 'dada' sounds are a familiar part of her babbling. We got her one of those ride or walk along push car things, she loves going in circles on it. I've dragged a mattress into the living room and padded the whole room with pillows and blankets so it's like a huge playpen. She can pull herself up to standing with something to hold onto and can walk at least six steps before falling or reaching the destination object. I miss the small baby she was, but I look forward to the little girl she's going to become and everything that follows.
Well...for someone who thinks everything they say is worthless I sure do manage to still say a lot... Overcompensating maybe?

Read this and thought of you ...
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

How can you doubt you are loved when you read the years worth of comments others have left here ?

Hugs and Tears.
